My posts won't upload

  • My posts aren’t showing up when I update them. They act as if they are going through, but nothing is actually updated. I have tried reloading my wp-admin file and wp-includes file as suggested in the forum, but that didn’t work.

    I only have 6 plugins. Next suggestion was to delete plug-ins. Is deactivating the plug-ins enough to test them or do I have to delete them?

    I am using Adventure Journal theme.

    Any other suggestions?

    Okay, deactivated all, reposted and updated. Still no change. Any other ideas?

    maybe clear your browsers cache
    Ctrl + F5 on keyboard at same time

    If I change my theme, will I lose all changes when I change back?

    actually the theme shouldn’t affect the admin

    Okay, I’ve changed the theme back to twentyten, cleared my browser, deactivated all plugins…all with no luck. Still does not show new post. Now what can I try? thanks

    Not sure what this means, but I tried going into the permalinks menu and reverting to the default. when I did that, I got a redirect loop error, so I had to reactivate the Permalink Fix & Disable Canonical Redirects Pack plugin to fix it. When I went to the new permalink it actually took me to https://heritageconsultinggroup.com/index.php/archives/80 which is my homepage text.

    So, am I getting closer to a solution or is my problem just getting worse??

    Came up with a work-around, but would still like to fix. I deleted the old page and started a new one and it loads just fine. not sure what will happen when I try to import my old blogs via a plugin.
