My problem with NextGen gallery Images

  • I switched to a slideshow effect, and it’s quite lovely. However…

    When a visitor clicks a gallery thumbnail, the large (960x 540) static image now fails to display.

    Oddly, I am still able to see the large (960 x 540) images when I click the thumbnails in the admin panel

    My site is CoastEstate

    Thank you in advance for any insight on this problem.

    P.S. – I’ve been searching for answers on this for a couple weeks. Most of the related threads are six years old.

    I had already tried every solution to this problem I could find on the internet prior to posting my request for info.

    Disabling plugins did not work.
    Default theme did not work
    Changing file permissions did not work.

    So, I reversed the one thing that I had done before the problem occurred.

    I disabled the “Show Slideshow” link.

    Everything else works fine now
