my rss feed is not working….

There is a blank line at the top of the generated feed file that is invalidating the feed. Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

No – there isn’t an option to edit the file. It’s generated on demand. Try the steps I suggested above.

There isn’t an alternative method at this stage. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting – a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.

Your theme & plugin settings are saved in your database and should be retained for future use.

i am thinking that , if i can edit the file that controls the rss feed via ftp client filezilla. i will download, edit and upload, that’s it.
