my second article (of 2) does not appear under "recent posts"

Hi, I’ve written 2 articles on my new website–an introductory one and a second one on the fashion of Mad Men. See here at https://jessicagimeno.com/

I clicked publish on both articles–the dates in my admin are from last weekend so it should appear. On the homepage, only the first article is highlighted and it’s hard to see the second. Under “recent posts” and “archives,” this second article does not appear. any ideas?
