    Hi,

What are the filenames – and, can you attach a link to a log from a corresponding backup?

UD cleans up after itself at the end of a run, with files that it can identify as being from that run (some can’t – some zip engines create files with names that can’t be associated), and cleans up any temporary files 12 hours old on the next run. Are the files left behind temporary files, or something else?

    Hi David,

You can see some exemples here :

I would check how to export a log next time it happens.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Phil,

If there are backups which seem not to being automatically tracked/deleted by UD, then click the “Rescan local storage” (*not* “remote storage”) link in the ‘Existing Backups’ tab of UpdraftPlus. UD should then start tracking them again, and delete next time a successful backup takes place.

Thank you ! Should I do this once for all or every few days ?
    Cheers

Ok ! My other website had 27 GB of hidden backup. I used the same action to clean it. If it start again I’ll let you know.
