    Hi @dinoking

    I hope you’re well today!

I’m really sorry for the issues.

CSS/JS optimization can affect different sites in different ways and that’s why there’s an option to set all optimization (per each detected file) manually. The plugin doesn’t make permanent changes so the quick-fix for any issues like this is to just disable Asset Optimization feature and clear all cache on site/server.

The site would get back to as it was before assets were optimized.

The best course of action afterwards would be as follows:

    – make sure that no other plugin for CSS optimization is active on site
    – enable Asset Optimization in Hummingbird again and let it scan the site

Once it’s complete, switching to “Manual” mode on “Hummingbird -> Asset Optimization” page and this will give you a full list of detected CSS and JS files.

For each file you can then separately decide whether it should be combined, compressed, moved to footer and/or inline (for CSS) or loaded after page is rendered (for JS).

If default optimization (automatic) breaks the site then tweaking these settings manually helps and let’s you not only fix the issues but usually also give more performance boost than default (automatic) optimization.

That being said, I’ve visited your site but I’m not sure what parts of it I should check exactly. Can you point me to the areas of the site that are broken so we could check it?

I see that there are still Hummingbird-optimized assets loaded so it would confirm that some manual tweaking of configuration would help here. Would you please tell us which parts of the site to check exactly so we could do this and get back to you with more details on how to fix it and help with performance?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello @dinoking ,

We haven’t heard from you for several weeks now, so it looks like you don’t need our assistance anymore.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
