My site completely disappear. Please help!!

    I was trying to remove date from end of each post and I looked at other people’s similar situation and followed the direction. And my site completely gone with this message:

    syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/kdub12/public_html/doasianfood.com/wp-content/themes/elbee-child/functions.php on line 14

    Please help me. My theme is Elbee Elgee and I installed the child theme which instructed by other person.

  • Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the your theme to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    I’m in the file manager from my host provider, HostGator. I found the theme and copy. I’m little confuse what to do after that..

    If you are in file manager open wp-content folder inside you will find themes folder inside themes folder rename your theme folder.

    This will force your default theme to open then log in wordpress admin panel and delete your theme in Appearance>>>Themes and reinstall your theme.

    Yes go to:

    wp-content/themes root, in there you will see the folders of the themes, replace that name of your current theme (the ones that broken) from “elbee-child” to “***elbee-child” or something along those lines, then refresh your homepage and it should revert to the default theme and you will be able to login again.
