    Hi TY for your plugin!

My site does not appear on Google, only some images, before the main page appeared at least.

I have reviewed all the tutorials I found, and everything seems to be fine, I mean, I don’t understand, what’s going on? The only part I don’t understand much about is “Crawl optimization”, nor can I find a tutorial that says exactly what to activate or not activate (I read the Yoast one, but it doesn’t specifically say if they recommend deactivating or activating it, or I didn’t understand well)

I have taxonomies that I am not interested in appearing on Google, I only have the personalized content activated “tv shows, movie, post, page, books, music and the taxonomy person”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @daliasued,

Thanks for choosing Yoast SEO and the kind words. I’ve addressed your concerns below:

My site does not appear on Google, only some images, before the main page appeared at least.

I performed a site search, and your site appears in Google search results. See screenshot.

The only part I don’t understand much about is “Crawl optimization”

With our crawl optimization settings, you make your site more efficient and more environmentally friendly by preventing search engines from crawling things they don’t need to and by removing unused WordPress features.?Learn more about crawl settings and how they could benefit your site.

I read the Yoast one, but it doesn’t specifically say if they recommend deactivating or activating it

Yes, we do not recommend what to turn ON or OFF in the settings since each website is different; there’s no one-size-fits-all. The help centre article is provided to help you make an informed decision.

I have taxonomies that I am not interested in appearing on Google

If there are taxonomies you don’t want to show in search results, you can set the taxonomy archive to noindex or each taxonomy individually.

    Hi @maybellyne

    1. I’m shocked with what you sent me, it didn’t occur to me to search like that, but looking at that search thousands of pages appear that are not mine, a month ago I had a virus that disabled iThemes Security (now it has a different name, I don’t remember), I don’t use it anymore and I have Wordfence and I put an antivirus on my server. I imagine that’s why I was penalized and my home page no longer appears. When you click on the strange pages it goes to my site, meaning they no longer exist, I will be patient while Google eliminates them. There are too many pages.
    2. The thing about this part is that I thought I did something wrong and that’s why my site no longer appeared, but it’s because of the problem in point 1.
    3. Ok
    4. Yes, that’s how I have them, but as I told you in point 2, I didn’t know if it was an SEO problem, but I now understood what happened.

Is there a way to tell Google that those pages are not mine?

    TY

    Hi @daliasued,

To help Google understand your site’s pages better, kindly submit sitemap to Google Search Console. To submit sitemap, you can follow the steps below:

1.?Clear the cache from caching plugins, the server, a CDN like CloudFlare, or the browser. If you’d like to clear the cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser, use this guide:?How to clear my browser’s cache?

    2. Delete your existing sitemap in Google Search Console. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. Be sure to submit only sitemap_index.xml and nothing else. This guide explains more: Submit your sitemap to search engines.

4.?Monitor the results to see if the issue is resolved. It can take some time, like weeks, before Google can report on the crawled URLs after you re-submit your sitemap, especially for large sites. Crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Be patient and monitor progress from Google Search Console.

    Hi @611shabnam

    1. I already did it last month, and installed a fresh copy of the site.
    2. Same as point 1 above.
    3. Yes thanks, that is the process I am waiting, since my last post, my home page and blog appears again just by searching for it.

Thank you for your support, I am very grateful for your help, I don’t know if you want to close the topic, I think the problem is now resolved, there are few rare pages left crawled, but I just have to be patient.

Note: My site is a bit complex because apart from the Blog, all the pages are made with “ACF”, I have already fixed the “Structured Data”, I think that was another problem for indexing.
