My site has crashed

  • My site https://www.grafaway.com
    was working smoothly up until about a month age, then I added a new domain https://www.grafaway.com.au and requested my hosting service – Smarty Host AU – to point that new domain at the existing .com site.

    Now I cannot access site or admin Panel link and my email has failed.

    Please – need urgent help to resolve

    have resolved, ( well with developer assistance)…partially…
    his summary was

    “the issue was caused from the plugin called Advanced Custom Fields which is one you had installed on your wordpress website. This has nothing to do with the web host itself. Sometimes a update is made to a plugin that can crash the website as it did in this case or if there is a wordpress update that the plugin doesn’t conform to it can also crash the website.
    So in this case I had debugged it and found out that this was the plugin causing the issue so I deactivated it and got the site working again.”

    still ironing out bugs which prevent my email working..

    The issue with email could be that you host has disabled PHP’s mail() function.

    This plugin will configure WordPress to use your email’s outgoing server instead: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/postman-smtp/

    James….odd,
    yours is the only email that hits my address…all my efforts from my other emails do not register / land

    Ok, WordPress doesn’t control your email, so you’ll have to contact your email provider about that.
