my site is down

  • hello, my site suddenly went down yesterday, and I am in dire need of it to be back up. I says “this site cant be reached”. I cant Even log into the admin area. kindly help me take a look at it and tell me what i can do.

  • You need to get on touch with your domain registrar. The WHOIS details shwo this:

    Nameservers:
    NS51.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
    NS52.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

    The nameservers were updated 15th of December this year – and that’s pointed it back to a holding page. You need to update your nameservers to point to your hostig server.

    Thank you so much. That means I must have have followed a wrong tutorial. It said I should point to @. If I want to point to wordpress, what do I put under hosted?

    It seems that your domain was expired and you managed to renew it recently. You need to change the nameservers to the previous ones you had earlier.

    I have tried everything I can, i even had to hire someone to take a look, but the site is still down. i had earlier changed the nameserver to pint to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com and ns3.wordpress.com, but its still down, i contacted Godaddy, but the sent me back to contact wordpress
