  • I Have the same issue and oddly enough started 3 days as well. This is the message I am getting:

APCu is not configured correctly. Please refer to https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/apcu/installation/ for instructions.

It is exactly the same message I get. My developer is not happy to deal with it since he is not familier with this third party code. He suggested me to do a back up to whole website and remove and reinstall the plugin. But I am hesitated to do that since this plugin have only hand full of intallations. I am not willing to believe all the good ratings due to lack of adequate installtions. My web hosting Go daddy suggested me to install their ‘site lock’ malware protection software to remove this pluggin. I am not sure which way I should go.

Im finding that we get the same problem, with ANY plugin enabled – even hello dolly….

How many people on Godaddy managed WP?

If you are using managed WordPress by GoDaddy, there seems to be a problem on their servers:

    Hello all,

So I am with godaddy as well and godaddy fixed mine. When you call customer service, go to hosting not just the General CS, The first time I called, the CS was just flushing my cache, and it will work for few pages but eventually will kick me out with same issue. The CS in hosting helped me out by renaming the cache. The way he explained this is the wordpress 4.7 and the cache is not compatible, by renaming the cache, this will not pick up. This “temporary” fix slowed down WP minimally but stabilized the site. Hope this helps. I have no issues since.

My site is godaddy hosted and having the same issue.

Godaddy perhaps didn’t test this well enough before upgrading, and the WP dev team seems to have let slip a big server configuration issue related to APC. See notes on the first bugfix on https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Version_4.7.1
