My Site is down… maybe hacked?

OK… so please… I am not savvy enough myself to know how to approach this problem. What would the step by step troubleshooting process you would do?

Now I seriously doubt if you own the site or if you are duly authorized to do any work on the site, including seeking support for it through these forums.

How can a site owner/duly authorized rep of the site NOT know where the site is hosted?

Is there NO ACTUAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT at WP???

Do you have FTP access to your site? You will need that to start troubleshooting – and you have to get that set up using info from your hosting company.
