• I had a site up which I purchased the domain from GoDaddy.com. I had a WordPress.com site already and a log in called jopunzel.wordpress.com. My site was jopunzel.com. GoDaddy said that my hosting was through WordPress and the Manage WordPress they had was never active meaning it had to be through www.ads-software.com. So I look at my log in via WordPress and SOME of my content is there but not all. Where did my stuff go? Why can’t I log in with jopunzel.com/wp-admin anymore? However when I log in through wordpress.com, I use the same log in information. I renewed my domain name but cannot find my site. How do I get it back up with your hosting? Why did some of my posts save under wordpress.com and the others just vanished?

For example. https://jopunzel.wordpress.com/2014/11/18/about-writing-samples/ is an active link that I posted AFTER I bought a domain in June 2014. This post was made in November 2014

But this isnt up. https://jopunzel.com/social-media-escalate-now/. This a post also made in November 2014, but its not there. What happened to my site???!!

More information. I can log in and see Jopunzel.com but there is an error message about Jetpack. Go Daddy did something and changed my domain name so it work forward from Jopunzel.Wordpress.com and be seen as Jopunzel.com but that doesnt explain where my content is!!! It says site cannot be accessed.

Your problem is definitely not a WordPress problem, it is some kind of problem with domaincontrol.com and/or how your registered domain is being pointed to the servers at GoDaddy.

To get all of that straight, either someone at GoDaddy or someone familiar with GoDaddy and domaincontrol.com will have to check things and either fix them or tell you how that can be done.
