  • Have you recently run a WordPress Update or made any other changes?

Do you have a backup by any chance?

I did not run any updates and don’t know where to look for a backup. its been several years since my site was built and now the designer has moved on. Not sure who to talk to.
I can’t even get to the CPanle to see any issues.
I got this message from a Godady/pro sites fourm:

The validated account you provided doesn’t have any kind of hosting in it, so you will want to locate your server first.

From what I can see in the browser, the domain vallieredesignstudio.com resolves to errors. From the pathing listed I would guess you are on a cpanel of some sort. You will want your developer to look at the coding.

Most likely you had updates to the site or php that caused outdated coding in the mysqli protocol for talking to the database.

    I don’t understand it.

    I hope this helps!

It is entirely possible that you were running a very outdated version of PHP and your hosting provider has upgraded you silently due to security concerns.

My quick research reveals you might be hosted on inmotionhosting.com so please check your email to see if that’s the case and try to find your access details.

    I’ll try that thanks

I can get in CPanel through inmotion hosting and it is where all my email addresses are managed. but when I look for a domain it’s saying i don’t have any domains and I think that right. I’m pretty sure my domain is from Godady. I see an option to transfer it should I try that?
I really think this is a word press issue but I can’t get into wordpress.

    That won’t help.

Domains and hosting are usually together, but not in your case.

Transferring the domain from one place to another won’t solve the issue, since the hosting will stay where it is and only the records of the domain itself will move.

Do you recall having signed up for Sucuri Security/Firewall to protect your website? The actual hosting provider is hidden behind their service so I can’t find out more.

    (@mvalliere)

    Yes,
I did sign up for Sucuri.

On another note, can you find your domain on GoDaddy?

    Thread Starter mvalliere

    (@mvalliere)

Godaddy has vallieredesignstudio.com listed under domains I have and its paid-up through 2021

    (@mvalliere)

I can log in to Sucuri and i see this:
Service is Activated Refresh status This domain is pointing to 192.124.249.102

    Thread Starter mvalliere

    (@mvalliere)

    and this :

    Domain: vallieredesignstudio.com
    Account Plan:
    basic planupgrade
    Hosting IP Address:
    198.46.91.100
    Manage
    Firewall IP Address:
    192.124.249.102
    2a02:fe80:1010::2:4
    Internal Domains:
    https://09d057e607.10002.sucurifirewall.com/

    (@mvalliere)

    and this:
We have added a new network to our servers and soon you should start receiving traffic from it, please make sure you update your whitelists on your hosting to allow 208.109.0.0/22

Alright, great! So I can say the following:

    1. Your domain registration is at GoDaddy
    2. Your hosting is at InMotion, so that’s where your WordPress is installed.

Due to (1), InMotion doesn’t show anything under Domains. But you should have another section with your hosted websites.

This is your cPanel at InMotion: https://ecbiz137.inmotionhosting.com:2083/

See if you can find your username and password for it (please DO NOT share it here). After you’ve accessed it, try to find your PHP Settings and see what version you have.

Also, it seems https://vallieredesignstudio.com/wp-admin/ is not accessible. Please open a support ticket with InMotion about it to see if they can help. It might be related to Sucuri’s whitelisting notice.

    PHP: 7.2.19

OK so most likely your WP installation is outdated and out of line with your PHP version.

Please find the Backup section in your cPanel and download a full backup just to be safe. Make sure to include a database backup.

Then download the latest WordPress from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-5.3.2-no-content.zip

Unzip and upload the contents over your existing installation.
