Thank you for your immediate response. hmm i cannot actually access the wp-admin because every time i visit the url https://www.tinambac.gov.ph/wp-admin it always redirect me to https://www.tinambac.gov.ph/home. I already changed the siteurl and home to https://www.tinambac.gov.ph/wp-admin but still it redirect me to https://www.tinambac.gov.ph/home

All your URLs are re-directing to either /home or they are 404 errors. That is because seemingly you messed up everything. You only know where you committed the mistakes.

If you have a database backup check the URLs there. If they are correct, drop the tables and re-import the database. It will correct the problem possibly.

    Hello sir Krishna.

I dropped the table already but the page still run the home with some details on it.. I also checked the wp-config if the info for hostname, username and password are correct and I found it correctly. So sir, where do you think my site got those info?

While checking your database, did you find all your contents intact? Do you have a full backup of your site? If YES, try reinstalling WordPress and then try to re-import all your site’s content.

It all depends on whether you are able to restore the database and your other site contents such as images and photos.

I do not find much of your site on your server. So, I cannot say much about your site.

Being a State/ Government institution, you may have other responsible people who can manage the issue. You can also contact your hosts (possibly 1&1) for assistance.

Yes sir i have the full backup of site and database. I tried to re-install a new wordpress site but the url installation is https://s416668922.onlinehome.us/hosted/tinambac.gov.ph/wp-admin/setup-config.php not tinambac.gov.ph/wp-admin/setup-config.php.

Are you changing your site URL permanently? If so, you will lose all your inbound links, traffic, rankings, etc. It will be just like a newly built site, unless you redirect all the links from your previous site. Also your new site address looks like a free sub-domain with almost no intrinsic values. Why do you want such a drastic change?

Or will you be shifting back to your original URL? If so the work will be quite cumbersome for you. Anyway, it is your choice. If you are comfortable and happy with that, go ahead and complete the installation.

I do not like or approve of such work, especially because you have your own hosting and a nice domain.

Now it is up to you to decide what you want to do.

I want it to be on its original URL sir. What should i do? Do i need to contact the 1&1 hosting site to resolve this problem?

Yes, maybe, they can help. I just pointed out the problems ahead of you. If you are NOT an expert in solving such problems, you may end up losing everything on your site. So, there is no harm in seeking help from whatever source you can.

Yes sir i’m just a beginner so i really need help from other people who are familiar already about this problem. Anyway sir Krishna Thanks a lot for your help ??

    You are welcome!
