My Sitemap page saying Error establishing Database connection

    please I need help urgently my sitemap for my WordPress eCommerce website Eduprojecttopics does not work properly. I am using yoast plugin and woocomerce plugin.

    I decided to check my sitemap if index via webmaster tool and I found that it was saying it could not fetch page, so I went back to check my sitemap page and I found out this error message “Error establishing a database connection”. so noticed that when I disable the DOKAN woo-commerce plugin the Yoast plugin displays my site map page but if I activate the woo-commerce plugin I get the same error message.

    I have contacted my host and they have done all they could but they said I should contact the owners of these plugins that there is an error somewhere.

    please I need your advice

    @chibueze080 We’re sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue on your site.

    An error of ‘error establishing database connection’ can sometimes be caused if another plugin is causing crashed tables in your site’s database. We’d first recommend checking whether that is occurring when the Dokan WooCommerce plugin is active. If you aren’t sure how to check a database for crashed tables, we’d recommend contacting your hosting provider for assistance with that. Typically if tables are crashing from the plugin it can be repaired. However, if it is persistently occurring, we’d recommend contacting the plugin developer directly for additional assistance. However, if the issue isn’t occurring with only Yoast SEO active and only when the Dokan WooCommerce plugin is active, it points towards the issue being with the Dokan plugin.
