My slider disappeared

    I’m not sure how long it’s been missing, but my slider is gone. When I go into Metaslider, the images aren’t there, but it does show the original shortcode. I have an old site on a local install that’s working so I rolled back the plugin to that version (3.10.1) but that didn’t work.

    I’ll probably just recreate it, but I’m wondering how this happened and how to avoid it in the future.

  • Hi,

    If the images are removed from the server, or the database entries surrounding those images are somehow corrupted, MetaSlider wont be able to load them. We actually don’t do any cleanup functionality without user action (ie you click the delete button).

    I see on the provided URL it’s already re-built, is everything working now for the time being?

    The images were still in the media library, it’s a mystery to why they disappeared from Metaslider. I don’t make frequent updates to the site other than updating plugins and adding an event post.

    I did rebuild it by just adding them back from the media library. All is good for now. I’ll keep an eye on it and let you know if anything happens in the future.

    I had issue and found it was ThriveThemes issue with their Global elements
