My star rating not showing

  • Hello there,
    Before using Yasr – Yet Another Stars Rating ,I use KK star to add rich schema and it was great.

    Then I found your plugin is better! But when i change the plugin to YASR ,the star is not showing on google search.

    I have use google structured data tool and the star schema seems actually not in the result. I have reinstall the plugin but doesn’t work, How can i fix it?

    Hello, thank you for using YASR!

    I can’t see the rating in that page, can you please paste a link with a shortcode set?
    (I really can’t read that site, sorry)

    Hello,I didn’t use shortcode set.

    The rating section is not display because i don’t want to show stars so I hide it.

    Sorry i don’t know how to find the link with a shortcode,can you tell me how to do or provide some example?

    I just setting YASR before publish my post, but it didn’t show on structure page ↓↓

    Ok I understood now.
    You’re using the blogPosting itemType, and as I wrote in the plugin settings, doesn’t display any star rating in results.

    Once said this,you’ve to know that:
    -google may penalize you’re site if you hide the rating.
    -google may penalize you’re site if you do “self reviews” ( more info here )

    OK i understand,thank you!
    So if i don’t do anything that google dislike for several months , then my YASR rating will be back right?
