• Hi, You guys are doing a fantastic job out there.

    Pls, I have an issue.
I have downloaded and activated the statcounter wordpress plugin on my blog, but this message comes up in the dashboard “My StatCounter WordPress Plugin is currently DISABLED.” How do I enable it?

I can’t observe my statcount on my blog page. Why is this so?

Pls respond swiftly. I apprciate your concern.

    Bye

    Newman

Have you completed the installation instructions? You have to do more than simply activate the plugin.

i have the same problem. there’s a big message across the options page that says “my statcounter wordpress plugin is currently disabled”. i’ve followed all of the steps and still have problems.

    oh wait.

From the generated StatCounter Code, copy the bolded sections: var sc_project=1234567 - Your Project ID var sc_security="a1b2c3d4" - Your Security String (Don't grab the inverted commas)

apparently means to copy the entire string and not just the numbers.

lemme go see what this does.

that did it – and make sure you enable logging.
