My store has a huge forehead

  • Hi, I tried to yellowpencil my way about it but it shows that “inner-wrap” has no top padding at all, nor does the next element “site-container” have any top margin.
    I tried with global page layout vertical spacing on and off but it makes no difference in my store catalog view (Btw I do want vertical spacing for posts and pages)
    How can I reduce that forehead?

    Also, my search bar is showing green for tablet and pink for cellphone but I want it to show the same color for both tablet and phone, I tried the tool for changing the background color and it only changes the bg color of the placeholder part and not the entire bar, what am I doing wrong?

  • Hi there!

    The spacing can be adjusted globally via Customize > General > Layout > Content Top and Bottom Spacing.

    If you don’t need the spacing for all of your posts, pages, and archive pages, you can set the value to 0.

    Regarding the search bar – the background color should be used for all the device views. When I checked your page, the color is not changing anymore – https://share.zight.com/E0uey4Rw

    Could you confirm if this has been resolved already?
