Don’t post code anymore — seeing your site is enough information, probably.
(For posting code, you need to use backticks, not single quotes — copy-paste off the instructions for example.)

The currently used style sheet file (https://www.photo543.com/wp-content/themes/Carrots/style.css) is “Forbidden”, so you need to add a reading permission for “Other”. If “chmod” or “permissions” is something you don’t know about, see Podz’s guide for example.

Minna, thanks for your advise and sorry for pasting codes.

Actually style.css was set to 755, and I changed it into 777. but still not working. So i guess the permission is not the issue. Is there anything else I could have missed?

    Thanks.

Did you follow the instructions for upgrading WordPress specifically on how to upgrade your theme from 1.2 to 1.5?

Directory permissions. I’m still getting a forbidden error when trying to access your CSS file. I removed each level in the structure, and was denied access all the way up into wp-content. That’s what I would look at first. Make sure you have the proper permissions on each folder.

    Oops! My fault!

I changed the permission into 766 accidently. After I changed back to 755 to the whole directory, the problem was resolved.

    Thanks to you all.
