My Suggestion to Reduce Comment Spam

I’d like to suggest a suggestion to Reduce Comment Spam here. Once it’s verified it can be added to https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Combat_Comment_Spam

The sugegstion is at https://www.syndic8.com/~jeff/blog/index.php?p=103 which is quite a old blog post, but I have used the code there in WP 1.2 and now in WP 2.0.3 eg at a page like https://www.bhatt.id.au/blog/top-gear-bbc-and-sbs-tv/ and it is a very effective 1st level defence with akismet mopping up the few manual spams that get through

The only change required to Jeff’s post is you need to edit comments.php and wp-comments-post.php in WP 2.0.3
