My theme doesn't show comment counts in home page

@kazary I just used the default WP function

<?php comments_popup_link( __( 'Leave a comment', 'lifelounge' ), __( '1 Comment', 'lifelounge' ), __( '% Comments', 'lifelounge' ) ); ?>

And with disqus active it reads:

1 Comment and 1 Reaction

I dumped the post_meta for a single post and as far as I can tell, Disqus’ sync does not save the data anywhere. Though it might save it as an actual comment, I haven’t discovered that yet.
