The Purchase Data is missing some fields, e.g., the number of available tickets which I believe is a required field – Also, the tickets are per family, $25, but when I add it to the post, there is only a field for a checkmark, and then nothing goes into the cart – it shows 0 tickets. I’ve made sure the plugin, theme, etc. are all up-to-date.

This is the second event. The first event is working correctly, and the available field shows next to the ticket types, e.g., First Seating, Second Seating.

    Thanks.

Nevermind – I logged out and back in and redid the event and it is now working!

    Glad to hear it!

ok – spoke too soon. IPN has stopped working – all sales for this second event are listed as PENDING. I am using PayPal standard. The payment has completed in my PayPal account and the payment shows up in the PayPal account of the seller. The IPN history shows an http code 200 received back. I’m at a loss as to what else to check out. Any idea how I should proceed or a workaround?

Working on it; completely unrelated issue.

Should be fixed in version just released.

I updated the plugin and it still is not changing from pending to completed and it doesn’t send out the email.

Have you had new payments since the update? If so, it may be a different problem. You should be getting error notifications with better error messages, however.

Yes – I entered a new purchase and the situation is the same. The sale comes in as Pending, never changes to Completed even though the money is in PayPal. I just did a test purchase. PayPal says my Purchase was completed and says that I paid $1.00 (the test price) for the ticket, but returns me to a screen that says I’ll get my ticket once my purchase is completed.

Did you receive an error notification via email?

    Thread Starter mgerney

    (@mgerney)

No – I didn’t receive any email at all.

    (@mgerney)

Frustrating – because it was working fine before I upgraded.

    Thread Starter mgerney

    (@mgerney)

That is upgraded earlier today before setting up the second event.

If there is a processing error with the PayPal payment, that should generate an email notification sent to the address you set in the field “Send to” under My Tickets > Settings.

It may not be that type of error, however, in which case it’s a tougher question.

What does your IPN history at PayPal report about these payments?

    Thread Starter mgerney

    (@mgerney)

Here is the information from a purchase that came in just this morning:
    Notification URL
    https://www.sandhillswe.org/?mt_paypal_ipn=true
    HTTP response code
    200
    Delivery status
    Sent
    No. of retries
    0
    Transaction ID
    68442630VC1113408

The money is in the PayPal account, but the WordPress site is showing it as Pending.

Can I roll back the plugin to an earlier version (I’m not sure what version was there before I upgraded) as that version was working. I think I can restore it from backup from a week ago – that should be the older version. Would that work?

    Plugin Author Joe Dolson

    (@joedolson)

If the problem is in the plug-in, then yes – going back to a backup would work. The problem could, however, be related to something else. Going back to a backup would help identify which of these is the problem, however!
