I have only 23 active products in my shop and 7 in the trash. My “all” products count says I have 114. Where are these extra products coming from and how do I get rid of them?

    Here’s a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/sMpBArG.jpg

I think it might have something to do with me using my theme’s demo content importer. It created many demo products, but I don’t think it created anywhere near the number that it is showing now, and I already deleted all of them.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi @sidewindern7 ??

Oh! Yes, probably your demo might have imported them incorrectly, or they are set to draft, but for some reason, the Draft button is not showing up.

Can you check if these products are under the Draft status by adding this path to your site URL /wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=product ?

    Thank you!

    Hi @gabrielfuentes,

No luck with the drafts I’m afraid: https://i.imgur.com/6ZYFV47.jpg

Did you try to look into the database and search post_type=product in posts

    @zworthkey @gabrielfuentes okay now we’re getting somewhere!

In the posts table I found a bunch of entries in the database showing products that have status “importing”: https://i.imgur.com/3320SIR.jpg

How would you suggest I cleanly get rid of these, including other things that might have come with them? For example, could these failed imports have image attachments associated with them that are not visible in my WP media library but are still there, stuck in limbo, like these ghost products were?

    Hi @sidewindern7 ??

Glad to know that the previous reply was helpful!

Now, to delete those products you will need to run an SQL command.

I’ve generated a SQL code for you, so please feel free to use it. Here is the code:

    Before you start

Please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database.

    Cheers!
