Hello dear friends. I installed this plugin WP-Optimize, and on the same day I installed the Heartbeat Control plugin, you can find it in this link:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/heartbeat-control/

I read in a website that both plugins were easy to use and would speed up my website.

On the exact day I installed them and optimized my website with them, every new post I wrote and shared in Twitter, was shared without a Twitter card. The Twiter card validator at
    https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
    Tells the same mistake always:
ERROR: Failed to fetch page due to: HttpConnectionTimeout

And when I share a card, only the link is visible, as you can see in this tweet by me:

This happens only with posts that I write after the moment I optimized by website with these plugns. If I share an old post that I published before the optimization, the card validator shows the same error, but when I share it to Twitter the card is correctly displayed. Those older entries were correctly displayed in the Twitter card validator when I first published them.

I don’t know what can be the reason, but I stronly suspect that one of these 2 plugins was the cause. Does anyone have the solution for this? I already uninstalled them, but will follow any instruction that may help me : (

    I just love Twitter cards.

  • @holyltd Can you please try to disable other plugins one by one keeping only WP-Optimize plugin active and try to tweet the post and check if it shows correctly?

    Thank you so much, Harshad.

The website is working correctly now, this is the route I followed:

    #1 I installed WP-Optimize again.
#2 I ran all the optimizations and setup the Cache.
#3 I deactivated the WP Super Cache plugin.
#4 I deactivated the Acme Fix Images plugin.
#5 Then the Twitter cards worked perfectly, however I received too many Error 500 errosr, meaning that many pages were not loading.
#6 Then I renamed my .htaccess file following the procedure described in this link:
    https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/
#7 Then the Error 500 error were gone.
#8 Then I opened many many pages of my website to see if I had more 500 Error errors and all pages opened fine.

So at this point, the Twitter cards work perfectly, I have installed and activated your plugin, and my website loads perfectly fine with no errors.

I tweeted just now the same post that I tweeted when I posted the original question, and you can see the Twitter card in this tweet:

Thank you so much, all is fine now.

I mark it as resolved. Happy year!
