My website is down

    Does anyone know what does it mean when your website is down? I was updating some code in my wordpress style.css and suddenly I don’t see my website anymore. When I enter my URL on any browser it just shows up as a white page. Please help and thanks in advance.

    Always copy the original code to some document on desktop before you make changes. Now you need to get back the original code. Because you cannot do that in dashboard/appearance/editor you need to go to File manager in wp-content/themes/YOUR-THEME/style.css

    If you don’t have the original html, try to download your theme, extract it to desktop and use only the style.css file. You can upload it, or open it in NotePad or WordPad and copy-paste the original html.
