• My ultimate problem:

1.) Reclaiming my website after messing with my DSN
2.) Obtaining an e-mail for my domain and connect it to my Gmail

    Explanation:

I am confused on how these things work, but I followed YouTube tutorials to migrate my hosting from GoDaddy to SiteGround. I followed SiteGround’s instructions to migrate my WordPress website to SiteGround. Then I was instructed to copy my DSN to my GoDaddy Account and when I did, my WordPress website was inaccessible.

If you need more information, I have access to all the account information on all 3 webpages. (WordPress, GoDaddy, and SiteGround)

Your DNS record(s) are still pointing to GoDaddy. You need to point them to SiteGround. Login to your GoDaddy control panel to update the IP addresses.

Right. that is because I tried to reverse it by inputing the DSN of GoDaddy again. I just switched it back after I read your reply. Should it work after that? Is there a time period for when the DSN will migrate to SiteGround from GoDaddy?

It depends on the TTL (time to live) setting on that DNS record, but typically, DNS changes show up in 2 to 24 hours. However, when I look, I see the new value:

    [sdstern@sds-desk ~]$ nslookup waynemessamii.com
    Server: 127.0.0.53
    Address:	127.0.0.53#53

I kept the SiteGround DNS on my GoDaddy account for over 24 hours when I initially did this. Now that I switched it back to SiteGround’s DNS, what steps should I take to ensure my website will be accessible? Should I just wait? Or should I do something else?

It seems to be fine. None of this is a WordPress question, so please follow up on any connectivity issues with SiteGround.

There are no connectivity issues with SiteGround. That’s simple propagation, you need to wait for up to 48 hours before NS changes propagate across the world’s servers.
