• Resolved reprintify

    (@reprintify)

I recently logged into my WordPress website dashboard and discovered that all my website content has disappeared, leaving only the header and footer. This issue seems to have occurred after installing an external plugin, which I have since disabled and deleted. Even after deactivating all plugins, some content displays as raw HTML without proper styling, with icons appearing too large and layout elements misplaced. I’ve spent several hours trying to resolve this issue without success

    Hi there,

    Thank you for contacting us.

It sounds like the external plugin you installed might have altered or corrupted your site’s CSS, scripts, or even database settings.

Here are some steps to try to restore your website:1. Check the Theme Files:

    • Ensure that your theme’s CSS and JavaScript files are intact. Sometimes, plugin installations can overwrite or disrupt theme files. You can try re-uploading the theme via FTP or reinstalling it from the WordPress dashboard.

    2. Regenerate CSS:

    • Go to Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS & Data. Also, clear the cache from your caching plugin (if any) or any CDN services you might be using.

    3. Check for Plugin Conflicts:

    • Although you’ve disabled all plugins, it’s a good idea to check for any remaining conflicts by activating them one by one and seeing if the issue returns.

    4. Inspect Your Site in Browser DevTools:

    • Right-click on your website and choose “Inspect” or press F12 to open Developer Tools. Check the Console tab for any errors (missing CSS, JS files, or other issues). These errors can give clues on what’s broken or missing.

    5. Review and Restore Site Backup:

    • If the plugin made significant changes, restoring a backup from before the installation might be the fastest solution. Check with your hosting provider for any automated backups.

    6. Database Integrity Check:

    • It’s possible that the plugin altered your database. Running a database optimization tool or even manually checking your tables using a plugin like WP-DBManager or through phpMyAdmin could help identify issues.s.

    7. Clear Browser Cache and Try Incognito Mode:

    • Sometimes, local browser cache might affect how your site appears. Clear your browser’s cache or view the site in incognito mode to rule this out.

    Hope this will help you.

    Kind regards
