First off, Happy Holidays to all.

I am a newbie at this and do not have a great understanding of the intricacies of wordpress.

My website is working fine, but when I try to access the wp-login page to access my admin dashboard, I get a 404 error code. My site hosting company says that the problem is not with them. I have not accessed this for about two months. Before it was fine and now I get only a white page stating “Your search – https://domainname.com/wp-login – did not match any documents”.

    Sometimes I get a 404 error code?

I do have access to C/Panel, but in phpMyAdmin all my files are listed as oad_filename for some reason that I do not know.

Some help would be appreciated greatly

Sorry about that, I have a deadline and this is driving me crazy. I will of course obey the rules of the board, now that I know them.

Thank you in advance for you help.

The site you provided, https://www.tunnicliffcapitalmanagementgroup.com , is not a WordPress site, not in the least.

Perhaps that is why you’re unable to log in there as a WordPress site?

Anyway, consider that you have a deadline and that this was frustrating enough for you to open multiple threads, multiple accounts, and change your story on whether you not followed the only solution to the problem 4 whole times, I think it’s time for you to hire someone to fix this for you.

A little bit of compensation will get you someone who will dedicate their time to fixing this for you.

I thank you for your help, even though I have acted very inappropriately, and for that I apologize, but the site is a wp site because in cpanel the themes are twentyfifteen, twentyfourteen and twentythirteen, as well we could access the site admin login page (WordPress) two months ago to make changes. Most of the coding that I am able to access have the prefix of wp-.

However, about two weeks ago, we noticed that the cpanel layout had changed and the previous layout was nowhere to be found. Perhaps the cpanel site was updated, or something, I do not know.

According to Wappalyzer the site looks like it is under Dreamweaver (I just checked now after reading that you said it was not a wp site) and that perhaps the site was migrated to this new format/development program.

The company we had used initially to get this site up and running for us, simply took the money, did a very basic job, not what we required, and then became uncontactable. This is why I have been forced to try to redevelop the site myself.

Looks like I will now have to learn to use Dreamweaver, or is there a way to migrate it back to WP?

I can assure you, even without my 11 years of experience at this, that https://www.tunnicliffcapitalmanagementgroup.com/ is not WordPress.

If you’d like to see for yourself, view source there and look for any trace of wordpress, wp-content, or wp-includes. There is none, because it is a plain HTML site.

Dreamweaver, as you suggested, seems to be the likely tool used to build it.

It is possible that maybe a WordPress site existed there, but as of now, I would strongly suggest hiring someone so that you can give them direct access to untangle this mess.
