Hi guys strange thing is happening with my website.

My website is wowbix.com when i search for “wowbix” it automatically starts showing results for “wowbiz” and says search instead for “wowbix”.
I am attaching the screenshot also. https://i.stack.imgur.com/9SCaS.png

Btw my domain is almost 9 months old, and i have created a lot of backlinks and social signals myself and also it is on the 4th page when you will search for “whiteboard animation studio” – keyword, but i am not sure why my domain name is doing very bad with google ?? Guys please help thanks.

  • Hey shehryaraziz,

This isn’t really all that related to WordPress believe it or not, but I’ll try to give you some suggestions anyway…

    1. Register your site with Google Webmaster tools so you can submit your sitemap.xml manually and see if there are any crawl errors, and what people are searching for to get to your site.
    2. Register your site with Google Analytics and apply the UA code to track traffic
    3. Check that your robots.txt is “friendly” and check that Settings > Reading > “Search Engine Visibility” is checked from your WordPress admin
    4. Adjust your Yoast SEO settings and make sure things look good
    5. Submit your site to dmoz.org
    6. Check out 3rd party SEO tools like https://www.woorank.com/en/www/wowbix.com for suggestions

Outside of that, the “wowbiz” recommendation is Google noticing that there are far more results for wowbiz than wowbix, so it’s making a spelling correction suggestion. If your linkage on Google improves, this will no longer be the case.

    Hope this helps!
