My Widget Disappeared

I discovered that when I added WP’s Pages widget (displays links to the blog’s pages along the sidebar), the Top Commentator goes away. When I remove the Pages widget (current state), the Top Commentator comes back. Know anything about this?

Jonathan, let me test and see if I can replicate the problem. Give me a few hours to get back to you on this.

Personally this would be a huge finding should the TCW causes conflict with the built-in pages widget. So many people reported this problem but I’m baffled as to why it’s happening.

Are there any updates regarding this, as we are suffering the same issue – it shows on the homepage, but not on other pages…

@christopher: To solve your issue, go to the TCW settings, and select “No” for “Show in home page only”. There’s an SEO reason why displaying it on the home page only is better: https://archive.websitenotes.com/2007/0402.html

@jonathan: The reason why I haven’t replied to this thread is that I’m still unable to replicate the problem. I’ll play around with this some more and post an update if there’s any to report.
