    My woocommerce site that I created with Hostgator 6 years ago or so crashed or something. I contacted Host gator and they said the problem is with the Woocommerce plug in.

    I went to bed last night and was running, woke up this morning seeing an email from jetpack said site was down.

    I have this error: https://store232.com/store/

    There has been a critical error on this website.

    I received no email notice, I contacted Hostgator and they said the problem is with the woocommerce plugin.

    I need some help getting my site working keeping my data intact.

    @ckadenge is just advising you to “temporarily” deactivate it for debugging purposes. It could be something with your server, the database. Right now the site not loading and not telling us any error code doesn’t help.

    Do you have the ability to add a code snippet to your config file?

    If so please add this

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', false);
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true);

    Hi again @usascottwright,

    Just wanted to add on to what @serafinnyc, you can as well try making the tests on a staging site to avoid messing with your live site. You can find the steps to creating a staging site from this guide.
