    MY WordPress Admin Page is MINE. It is NOT a place for you to advertise your products to me. I do NOT need your backup options. I have that covered. It is unlikely I will ever need your backup solution given that I backup directly from the server using server level tools.

    Jetpack is coming close to being more annoyance that it is worth.

    Stop advertising on my admin page.

    I am sorry that these messages are bothering you; you can remove them by copying the code below to your functions.php file:

    add_filter( 'jetpack_just_in_time_msgs', '_return_false' );

    So your solution to the problem you created is for me to add specialized programming. How about you have some basic respect and not cross certain boundaries. I have been forced to systematically remove jetpack functionality because it was causing issues elsewhere. Every feature I have to turn off lowers your value proposition and makes the arrogance of the advertising and the response more annoyance than the value you provide.
