My WordPress back end is screwed up

Is https://www.apixelatedview.com/ the site in question?

From what I can tell, you set one URL to be https://www.apixelatedview.com and the other to be https://apixelatedview.com

Both need to be either www or not-www. Since www works for your front page, I’d stick to both set as https://www.apixelatedview.com

I am lost right away. I am looking on my cPanel and see nothing about downloading a backup.

You don’t need to download a backup if you don’t want to. In step 1, “Backup your database” is a link which takes you to the documentation on how to do this.

Since it’s already quite message up, you might as well proceed to step 2, but be sure to follow the steps exactly as detailed. Do not do anything extra, just the 17 steps.

Ok I set both to the same thing with www. at the start and I still have the same problem. Should one have “/wordpress” at the end of it?

Are your WordPress files in the /wordpress/ directory, or in the root directory (usually public_html or web or www)?

Access your server via FTP or SFTP.

If the WordPress files are under a /wordpress directory, then you need to set home to https://www.apixelatedview.com/wordpress

Ok so I changed it so that the home url is https://www.apixelatedview.com/wordpress and the site url is https://www.apixelatedview.com and now both the backend and frontend are screwed up.

Were your WordPress files in a directory called wordpress ?

The wordpress one didn’t have the www.
