My wordpress has been hacked

  • I just installed wordpress few days ago. Now I visited my site and it redirects me to an advertisement scam.

    I was thinking wordpress could be more secure… whats going on? this is the link to my website: https://www.eetutorials.com

    On every few refresh, my website gets redirected to an scam page.

    How can I fix this?

  • Your site appears to be coming up fine for me. Does it happen when you visit your website from another computer, or only with the one you are currently using?

    Well it was so awful, I deleted everything and reinstalled again. Hope it doesn’t happen again. Could it be from some plugins ?

    It is possibly you left the username as “admin” and a very simple password set for admin?

    What plugins did you have installed?

    Was your FTP password likewise set with a complex password?

    Have you checked your computer for viruses / malware?
