• I spent a couple hours the other day creating I guess what you could call a word press knock off at tutorialstuff.com if you want to see it, it’s under the news section. Tell me what you think or if you have any questions/comments.

    Thanks – Mike

  • Interesting.

No part of it validates. While that might seem picky to point out, I always get a kick out of sites that ‘advertise’ some sort of knowledge but don’t adhere to web standards.

    your lostpass link is 404.

Scary stuff: “Failed validation, 185 errors“. Validation is important if you want your site to be accessible. Wanna know why? Read this.

I actually have my certification from the W3C so I am all too familluar with validation standards and haven’t been too concerned with them yet especially if you take a look at what the failed validation errors stem from such as ampersands a missed alt tag or two and some errors thrown from the PHP addressing.

These are all issues that I plan on fixing and taking care of, there’s nothing nicer than having your site validate. Thanks for the input guys!

    Any other suggestions?

Well, it appears that they aren’t your tutorials at all. When I click on some of the PHP ones, you open a new window which displays content in a frame from another site.

As for the “word press knock off” under the “news section”, there’s nothing there except one item which tells me “you’re up and running”. What was it you wanted comments on exactly?

I just wanted overall feedback on the site.

Anybody else have some comments or advice?

How is this relevant to WordPress at all?
