My wordpress pages are locked

  • Today, all of a sudden, when a friend wanted to see my blog, it required a login/password. I have not changed any configurations at all, and my blog has been fully accessible up to this point. Further, my login credentials (to the admin area) do not work with this login either. Is it an attack on my site? I do not know where to start looking. I host the site (including the database) on my own domain residing at a web hotel. Any help appreciated.

  • First, what is a webhotel? or did you mean to say it’s hosted at webhotel.net?

    Can you logon to your host?
    What is your site?
    What is your current version of WP?
    What have you changed recently?
    Does anyone else have access to your site’s hosting account?
