    Carefully follow this guide.

When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures and start backing up your site.

If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Off hand, couple of names that come to mind are Sucuri and Wordfence.

had same issue. same email on new admin acc. looks like I was hacked just because of simple pwd.

I also had this problem, but my password was not simple. It was editable for me and I simply deleted it. I did not enable everyone to join but this person had registered himself as a high-level user.

After investigating, I found 1st line in functions.php Wich adding new admin user.

Preferably to completely reinstall WP. To avoid backdoor code. Cheers

New users have appeared in my wordpress site which i have not added myself. How can this have happened?

    easy password I guess ??
