my wordpress site not showing up in google

    I have installed my wordpress site on my hosting space a few moths ago and kept it hidden from search engines to allow myself some time to create content .A few days ago I allowed it to be seen (in the privacy settings) but when I even search for the name of the site https://www.blikoon.com
    I get google telling me that robots.txt is preventing it to index it.

    Can anyone help?

  • The robots.txt looks fine and the site is indexed as recently as Oct 12th, but the cache of your homepage is still old and from when it was not accessible (at least that’s how it appears).

    Thanks CliffAcent ,that’s a relief since i thought nothing from the website can be seen from google.Is there anyway i can update the cache of the homepage or something else i can do to make it show up?I’m new to this ,please excuse if i ask something dumb.

    Submit a new sitemap and wait for a day or two. Check the number of indexed pages at your Google Webmaster Tools account. Also look for errors or other notifications and make corrections as required.
