mycomments on other blogs posted to myblog

mtl3p started using del.icio.us/mycomments to keep track of comments he made on other blogs. This kicked off a long conversation that lead to using an rss feed to actuallypost mycomments back to my site, in the sidebar (scroll down to see it in action).
finally it occurs to me that this is a reverse trackback.
I’m no hacker, so can’t do anything about it, but wondering if anyone thinks there might be a useful plug-in in there somewhere.
