I sent a letter to mycred support but figured it might get answered here quicker. When I use the PMP/Mycred plugin that allows payment for subscriptions with points it forces users to enter their names and billing addresses at check out every time they buy something. If they have points it means they already have an account so I already have this information. While there are settings within PMP to hide these billing fields with other payment addons this one seems to lack this option or I’m an idiot and don’t see it. I was wondering if there is a guide somewhere that could help me figure this out. I checked both plugins website and other than some installation guides I can’t find anything. Thank you for your help.

I managed to remove the “requirement” of users adding the info by editing the class.mycred_pmp_point_payment.php in the mycred/pmp plugin folder but anytime I try to remove the code that displays the fields I get code errors that crash the site and I have to restore from back up. I’m not great at coding but I can sometimes figure it out. I have followed several guides that remove billing info that work with other payment gateways within PMP but Mycred still displays the fields no mater which option I try. I know this could be fixed with CSS but it’s way beyond my skill set. I just need to know which file to edit and which lines of code to delete or alter. I’m very good at following simple instruction and I appreciate any help.

Hi @bossmonkey , thanks for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

We don’t develop or support that integration so I can’t provide much insight into why they require those fields, however based on past experience, I have seen some gateways require that information on every checkout.

Speaking from a general perspective of how our gateway class works – after removing the fields, there is an array of ‘validation’ fields that you would need to unset or remove as well so that the checkout page doesn’t try validate them as well.

Here’s a code recipe that you can use to disable and remove our fields – you might need it to adjust the custom fields.

If you have any other questions related to the gateway though, please reach out to the MyCred team for further assistance.
