• I have WordPress 1.5.2 in my server with the Tiger Admin plug-in installed. I got myGallery 0.5.8 plug-in (from https://www.wildbits.de/mygallery/) installed and don′t plan to use any other since it integrates perfectly with the Tiger theme. But i have two problems, and i can′t read the documentantion:

    1. The upload pictures don′t get the thumbnail. Instead, i get the message below after a completed transfer.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in (path)/wp-content/plugins/mygallery/mygallerymain.php on line 273

Looks like something′s missing. But what? And where? How to solve this?

    2. The second problem is a little basic. I created the static page, remembered its ID and filled the “gallery page_id” field. But the page is opened (https://www.pangeabox.net/?page_id=391) i get nothing. Not even an “alt” link without the pictures. Again, looks like something′s missing. And again, what?

    Can someone help me?

    Problem 1:
you’re installation of php is probably missing a library,

I don’t understand php very much, is this a problem i can fix by myself just putting the files in some folders on my wordpress directory or must i contact the provider to install it?

Doh, i just found the solution to question 2. I must RTFM! According to the author:

“Go to the gallery management and choose your gallery. There is a field named “page_id??. Fill in the id of your static page which you wrote down earlier, save the changes and return to the static page. Edit the text of the page and type [mygal=(NAME OF THE GALLERY)].Save the page.
Now you can see a gallery with thumbnails in your blog.”

Don′t forget to change (NAME OF THE GALLERY) with the actual name of your gallery.

I′m still stuck with problem 1, thought.

You can find more information about myGallery here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/60714

I wrote an answer to the first question there.
