myMag Multiple Questions – Theme Setting Page

  • Okay, before I forget, here is my site so you can see what I am talking about…

    I just started using this theme, which I really love, but a few things don’t seem to be cooperating in the options settings…

    1. In the middle of the home page there is a gapping hole! What is that about?

    2. All of the settings ask for “page IDs” or “category IDs” that I want to appear or exclude from each section. What do they want for the ID? Just the name of the category like Alternative Health? Because when I type in just the name of the category it does not respond. For example, I said to exclude BHN Business from the category menu and it took all categories out of the munu. I asked for one category to be in the slide show but I am getting posts from every category in every section of the site no matter what I tell it to do.

    3. Same goes for the footer settings. I put in the title of the post I wanted used for the “About the Website” post ID and nothing shows up there in the footer.

    I greatly appreciate anyone’s time in answering these questions.
