• Worfence seems to have changed it’s settings, and so for backing up with MyRepono, I’ve had to whitelist MyRepono’s IP in 3 different places. One of those places is the firewall page and there are 5 options for whitelisting: Query String, Post Body, Cookie, File Name, and Header. Can anyone tell me what these mean? I’ve selected to whitelist Query String – but do I need to whitelist the others to enable restoration with MyRepono?

  • Hi alextech,

I am unfamiliar with MyRepono, but whitelisting the IPs typically is good enough. However, there are cases where the other options are needed. Have you been able to test whether it is working with the IPs whitelisted?

You might also try putting the Wordfence Firewall in “Learning Mode” and testing without the IPs listed. It is possible that Wordfence has flagged those operations as dangerous and blocked them. However if you put the firewall into Learning Mode it should see that those actions are safe and no longer block them.

Thanks wflandon! Actually what worked was Whitelisting MyRepono’s IP on 3 places – one on the Wordfence Firewall page and twice on the Options page.
It seemed like all 3 were necessary.
