MySQL backup

  • Exporting the database through phpMyAdmin for backup purpose or moving to another host/domain offers some options.

    Other software I’m using (a phpBB forum sharing the database with WP) sugests that I uncheck Extended Inserts in the Data section.

    How is that affecting the transfer of WordPress tables ? For a correct backup should that be checked or unchecked ?
