MySQL database

  • I’m a beginner.

    First thing for me is to install WP.
    Now I need to fill in my database connection details.

    But where should I get the details from?

    Webhosting?

    I don’t have any hosting jet.

    But before I host my blog. I need to know what wordpress domain my blog has.

    For now I only downloaded WordPress 2.8.6

    Where can I create my blog?

    im begineer, before hosting the entire thing i want to check either it works properly or not in localhost, but im getting problem with mysql databse,

    I have now created MySQL database.
    But I now get this message:
    ‘.__(‘Already Installed’).’
    ‘.__(‘You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.’).’

    Does it mean that I have to delete my database and create a new one?

    Have you also installed PHP? That looks like raw PHP source code which means that the PHP on that page isn’t executing correctly.

    I am having the same problem I am trying to input variables into a text doc wordpress-config and I dont have the right info my host is 000webhost

    I think I will be leaving the geek club now I can no longer accurately classify myself as one anymore

    You have to get this information from your host. Just ask. Its not something you should ‘just know’ and it isn’t something you can make up unless you have significant server privileges.
