• I changed hosting providers. I have a backup of my wp-mysqldatabase, but it’s too large for importing it with phpmyadmin to the server of the new hosting provider. They only allow import of files max. 2mb, my databasebackup is 13mb. Is there a way to split up the database and import it using parts of 2 mb max.?

    Thanks for helping!

  • You can try something like bigdump – https://www.ozerov.de/bigdump.

Or you can try asking your new provider to do the upload for you, by uploading a compressed file of the db to your webspace and then giving them the addy to the file. My hosts have always done that sort of thing without a problem.

Thanks, I already uploaded it to my provider, but they seemed to be rookies at this. Unfortunately, I didn’t knew until after I moved my site ??

    I’ll look into bigdump, thanks.

Ewww…. ouch. That sucks, then. I’ve never used bigdump myself, but I’ve heard it works fine. I’ve also heard the instructions can be confusing – and since I’ve not used it, I hope you don’t run into that problem!
