MYSQL firewall capability?

    Have another question for you: for the past 2 weeks I’ve had intermittent site freezing. I’ve been going back and forth with Hostgator trying to figure it out and they’re suggesting that it’s an issue with MYSQL with its connection limit reached too frequently.

    One agent noticed I had a very weak MYSQL password which was perhaps the issue with bots trying to access my site. He gave me a stronger password, but the issue remains intermittent. They’ve also performed security tests and everything looks clean on my end.

    So my question is, is there anyway to add MYSQL firewalls with this plugin? I do have the “block sql queries’ selected. Just wondered if there was anything else I could do to stop the slow loading. My site has been running smoothly for months, so this has just been frustrating trying to figure out a fix.

    Apologies if I’m not being precise enough in my terminology. I’m not very well versed in MYSQL issues.
