I want to copy my website to a laptop running wordpress on the xampp server. I used the instructions on https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-a-local-wordpress-site-using-xampp/ to set up wordpress. I purchased the plugin extension since my website size is about 2 GB, followed the instructions (exported from the website then imported into a fresh install of wordpress on xampp). Everything completed successfully (so the software said), except I got a warning that “MySQL server has gone away” and was unable to run any queries from the database. I’ve tried setting larger values of max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize, and post_max_size in xampp\php\php.ini on the laptop. Still get the same warning message. What can I do so that my entire website is copied?? Please help!
